We all have a story. Mine brought me to building biology because I believe it can help the most people thrive where they are. Our modern conveniences come at a price. Too many people today don’t realize that and end up paying with their health. I want to help you better your “built-environment" so you can truly thrive!
I'm a regular mid-west dude. Although I was born in Wyoming, lived in Wisconsin, Texas, and California in college, I moved to Iowa, because my wonderful wife of now thirty seven years was born and raised in Newton. We moved here from Texas when my daughter was about to start into school and we wanted a better education for our kid(s). As it turned out we ended up homeschooling them after a few years because we wanted to invest in them personally. As a result, the two (including a son shortly after) are both well established and successful contributing patriotic Americans.
Investing in people--that's what I feel called to do.
Just after moving to Altoona at age 30, I began a journey that has been the best education I could have ever had. Most people call it life. I call it a rich education of experience that I wouldn't trade for anything. The last 30 years have been a lifetime of their own.
Job Experience:
~Cable TV
~Business Telephone systems
~Baking (yes, baking cakes, cookies, etc. --more on this later)
~Business system design, development, and documentation
~Personal bakery business (500 wedding cakes in 10 years, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, and more. Over 250,000 servings sold)
~Property management
~Handyman business--lite plumbing, lite electrical, framing, windows, doors, decks, etc.
~Merchandising and construction of branded displays on a large scale
~Mold investigation, EMF detection, Light and sound evaluation
Hmmm. Very broad and diversified...what connects them all?!
Answer: People.
Biologically, electrically, energetically, psychologically and chemically.
I have seen the impact of each of these pursuits on the people I have served. And fortunately it has all been positive. The cable and telephone work is serving me greatly now in Building Biology. The baking, after business systems coaching, helped me build the most highly recommended wedding cake bakery in Iowa. (I still get calls after more than 10 years.) I closed the bakery due to a move to an acreage to serve aging parents with a dream of their own property again. This has been one of the greatest blessings of recent years. Especially for personal peace in regard to respect of my elders in their latter years. Years shared together instead to some random care facility.
So to today, we live on that property. But shortly after moving in, we ran smack into the challenge of mold. Add to that the issue of close-proximity radio frequency exposure from my Bluetooth headset while baking, and you have a lethal combination. I managed to escape the "lethal" part of that...barely. I had a Bluetooth earbud so I could answer calls while I was frosting cakes. I wore it for hours each day for several years. Right at that spot above my right ear I developed a subdural hematoma.
Brain surgery in 2020 opened my eyes to the invisible world of EMF exposure and its detrimental health effects not only to humans but also our pets. Additionally, mold in the home is irritated greatly by EMF's making it produce considerably more mycotoxins which can be also be deadly. When my brain bleed was discovered, I only had days to live. That wake up call resulted in a deep study of Building Biology and a commitment to help others.
Perhaps you are one of those "others" that I can help.
I hope so.
